Tears - ability
Sorrow's tears have the ability to harden and be manipulated into short-term weapons, jewellery, and other objects.
Shards - weapon
Sorrow can form large shards of solid gold with his tears and control them via metallokinesis. Gold is a soft element, and thus his shards tend to be single-use and dull. They only typically manifest during intense stress.

// Personality.
Sorrow is a manifestion of sorrow and grief itself. As such, his emotions are extremely strong and often cloud his judgement. Typically, he is extremely quick to make a joke of things and try to make others laugh, but he can grow extremely irritated and become unreasonable and explosive quickly. He is gentle by nature, loyal to a fault, a lover of people, and, above all, just wants to be good.
Due to the nature of his existence, grief and sorrow are his 'default'. He absorbs grief from the people and experiences around him and 'holds' and processes them with those around him, acting as a living emotional buffer.

// History.
Sorrow is an abstract "spirit-esque" entity hailing from a semi-physical dimension. He was never born, but rather manifested in the state of growth and life he appears to be currently, having being 'birthed' from a well of extreme emotion. Sorrow's home dimension collides with and passes through the plane of existence in which humans and their earth inhabit - his dimension is a semi-physical plane that encapsules human emotion. Prior to his emergence into the physical, Sorrow was a non-physical, abstract, concept of human emotion. He was non-sentient, unthinking, and merely served as another infinite vessel to 'store' emotion.
Past.
His current existence came to be when a weakness within the dimensional planes finally gave out and collided a non-sentient collection of emotions and memories with the physical, forcing two states of being into a single Vessel, taking the form of a common companion and comforting creature - a dog. The event warped the bond between two states of being that should have never met, and thus the magic of the world filled in the gaps with common traits of magic-touched individuals - it gave Sorrow wings, and welled his eyes with permanently dripping golden tears.
Upon forming, Sorrow spent many of his years lost and lonely. Suddenly he was alive, and now he had to find a grasp in a world he had no belonging in while battling an innate urge to absorb and feel the sorrow of those he came into contact with, all while having no memories or sense of who he was meant to be.
