Profile
Saxeus appears as an anthropomorphic dragon statue made of a very dark stone. He has a long triangular reptilian face with glowing Emerald eyes, thick, scaly eyebrows, and small ears that look like bat wings. His horns are medium in length with spiral lines, they appear with smaller cracks. Another, smaller horn is located on the top of his snout. Three, spikes are on each side of his jawline.
His wings are broken off and all that's left are stumps. His physique is very tall and muscular. His skin is rough and covered with a scaly texture. Larger scales run down his neck/throat over his chest and belly along the underside of his tail, other places that are also covered with large scales are his shoulders, arms, his forehead, and snout. Thick, triangular spikes run down his spine, getting larger on his back and smaller towards his forehead and his tail.
Perky, Confident, Hotheaded
Saxeus was once a regular, un-magic, un-alive statue that decorated a big fireplace inside a huge castle, before its inhabiter -a shy, insecure, and lonely wizard named Steff- decided to change that with a magic spell and the heart of an ox.
The only thing was, he couldn't get a fresh heart, because Steff faints at the sight of blood. So instead he picked one from the kitchen inside a jar.
As a result, Saxeus' transformation only partially worked and he never fully turned into a fire breathing, flesh-and-blood dragon. His wings broke off as well and were left behind at his former base, which meant he couldn't fly either.
But besides that, it worked and he was alive and well - and mobile!
As a Thank You for giving him life and because Saxeus felt the need to protect the weak, little wizard, Saxeus decided to give him what he wanted.
- The fact he's made of heavy stone slows him down a lot and he tends to break things under his weight.
- Because he has a beating heart, he will start to bleed when any extremities break off.
The blood will smell a bit like vinegar and alcohol because it was once preserved in a jar. - Despite being so tough and made of literal stone, he still feels pain.
- Steff will sometimes use magic spells on Saxeus to give him certain powers, like the ability to fly or breathe fire, among other things.
- His design is inspired by those black goth dragon figures you find everywhere.
