he is incredibly large, tough, and a bit stern, which often gives the impression that he has been around longer than most in the 'army'. he's actually quite young and has a lot to learn (beyond fighting and war, that is)...

he eats A LOT and because most can't keep up with his gluttony, he takes it upon himself to cook meals for the militia. oftentimes he forgoes fighting to focus on the food and how to keep it coming in fresh and delicious! and he is a damn fine cook at that.

he doesn't have many morals due to his less-than-normal growing up. though he is extremely opinionated, it doesn't take much to make him change his mind and reconsider his viewpoints (whether he admits it or not is another story, though). if someone he cares a lot about is being judged or lambasted, he will blindly defend them. luckily most of his comrades take care of their own problems the same way he would, with fists, but.. lol
