David Romero

A sheltered rich kid from the west side of town, David Romero is a new physics student at the college, and an up-and-coming superhero after an accident late at night granted him flight, the ability to make powerful shockwaves, and a level of superspeed (though initially, he's only able to tap into the latter two when stressed, scared, or otherwise fueled by strong emotion). Socially awkward and prone to panic, and doesn't... quite understand superheroing yet (rescuing window washers... from their jobs), but he means well and is good at heart. Easily manipulated. Ev Maldonado's rival and eventual partner, Basil Agnelli's mentee, next door neighbor and childhood friend of Tiffanisha Priceless.
