Junma

Junma is a powerful necromancer who trained under a great master, able to command an entire of spirits to do their bidding! ....Or so they say. In reality they aren't even a necromancer at all, and the spirits follow them around because they consider it free entertainment. They have a huge amount of seemingly unearned confidence, and often boast about great deeds they actually had nothing to do with. They so good at pretending to be a necromancer and then avoiding any situations where they might prove it that they have most people convinced that they actually are one, even if they think they're not that good at it. They're a social butterfly, and they get along well with most people, but more old fashioned and traditional types tend to dislike them.

As for what's really going on here.. Junma is, without a doubt, very intelligent. They also do know how to communicate with the dead, and convince them to assist them in the mortal plane, but it can't be called necromancy. What Junma practices is an ancient art from the now fallen kingdom of Ltharia, which has been passed down through generations of their people inmemorial. Junma is the sole keeper of the Ltharian art, having studied in the capital city under the masters.
