Loranth is half moon elf, and this has shaped a good part of who he is. He's an anomoly in his existence- moon elves are notoriously secretive, and by a rule don't interact much with others. Because of this, Loranth was raised in secret as well, by the elders of his family in the hopes he would turn out more like them. Despite their best efforts, he has always taken after his human mother. He has recently left his family home under the pretense of studying, but has been using the opportunity to distance himself and learn about the world.
Loranth is a good person, but he's a bit of a bastard, and doesn't have great social skills. He mostly just follows his friend Junma around, being vaguely horrified at the things they get up to. They've been on a kick of helping him discover himself outside of his family's influence. Their methods can be a bit.. strange, and too personal, but Loranth doesn't really care. He worries that he's sort of obsessed with them, but he's actually just DOWN BAD and doesn't realize it.

- The book Loranth carries around is a book on astrological magic, which he inherited from his mother.
- Loranth is a night owl, and tends to nap during the day.
- He really does spend almost all of his time with Junma, and they really are best friends, even if he won't admit it out loud. They'll look back on it fondly one day.
