Hare

Your experience at the beach is much nicer than the canyons. The feeling of sand squishing beneath your feet, the soothing sound of water lapping at the shore, and the usual Cosmo Cat dragging themselves out of the water with a displeased expression on their face. Yikes.
The feline hisses quietly, flopping down beneath some shade to dry off.
They look very annoyed.
Perfect friend material.
You don't need to see the cat's face to know just how peeved it is. Not with you, but with the environment. The cat is less focused on you and more focused on grooming the thick clumps of sand out of their fur.
You feel bad. So you help them.
The cat is grateful for your help, though they don't voice it. It's fine. It's not hard to tell, you can see it in their eyes.
