Dev

A bit of a tomboy. Theater kid. Queer, punk, cool youth energy - although she hides it in front of her parents, not wanting to be cut off from her parents in the same way her older brother was. Interested in activism and goes to protests and the like as often as she can. Secretly thinks Slutsky's roommate Clem is really cool but is too shy to say so. 

Went to school at one of the UCs, majored in creative writing. This has the added benefit for putting physical distance between her and her parents, allowing her to be herself without fear of repercussions. Was on the debate club (and good at it). Tried to shorten her name into something more unisex, with moderate success - some of her classmates started to tease her for being Debator Dev.

She tans and freckles more easily than Slutsky or Hannah. Wavy black hair that she kept long all through high school, then promptly chopped off as soon as she moved out to college. Often bleaches or dyes her hair fun colors, though it tends to look "frosted" due to how quickly her roots grow out. Skinnier than her siblings, hazel eyes. Huge fan of old band T-shirts. Usually wears denim jackets with lots of pins. Probably has an ita bag for more pins. 5'8.

Compared to Slutsky: her hair is similar to the kind he had at age ~18. He is fatter, paler, and less freckled. They have similar shaped eyes, eyebrows, and body language. In general, she is the "black sheep" of the family and stands out quite a bit due to her appearance for basically everything except her hair. 

Hannah

Went to school locally at a private liberal arts school. Majored in biology. Popular girl trope but actually quite nice. Can be petty. Struggles with imposter syndrome and considers herself the least successful of the family (even though both of her siblings will refute this if asked). The more introverted of the pair - tends to stick with her small group of friends and has anxiety dealing with strangers.

She has a similar body type to Slutsky, but softer and rounder. Long light brown hair that goes past her shoulders which she often keeps down. Blue eyes. She and Slutsky are a similar size and sometimes do clothing swaps. More mainstream style, usually in sweaters or skirts and jeans. Between her and her sister she is more likely to wear subtle "no makeup makeup" styles. 5'6".

Compared to Slutsky: similar body type, although Hannah is a bit "softer" and has a more pronounced chest. Hair is lighter and has more wave.

Backstory

Fraternal twins, with Dev being born five minutes earlier. Five years younger than their older brother Slutsky. Their parents divorced soon after their birth. They lived mostly with their mother, spending only one or two weekends a month with their father. When they were younger they used to follow their parents' example and tease their older sibling, but they quickly caught on and stopped, later becoming very supportive of Slutsky against their parents' wishes. They secretly keep in contact with him, even though he is no contact with the rest of the family. 

The two twins were always close, despite their varying interests, and though they had their spats they always stuck together. In Fall 2017, they went to college, which was the first time they had ever been more than a few miles from each other, when they went to schools on opposite sides of the country. Dev went to one of the UCs for Creative Writing, and Hannah went to a private liberal arts school nearby for Biology. It was a huge learning curve and a hard adjustment for both of them.

They both graduated in Spring 2021.
