The origins of their relationship remain mysterious to most, and so too does the reasoning behind why the two adore each other as they do. Even those who have known Extol for a long time felt confused why they favor this one particular man. Before their involvement in a romantic relationship, never would they have considered bonding with a stranger in the first place. Perhaps it was his absolute audacity, his will to change the world to a place where conflict would no longer destroy it. To them, such an action resounded as beyond the willpower of many others. To ignore the politics and remake everything from scratch felt extraordinary. When they first met him, they knew none of these details, only knowing him to be the most powerful of his kind. However, as time passed, the more they came to know him and his little quirks, they found themself feeling something they had never felt before. Unlike Lyra, who died not knowing the extent of her feelings, Extol knew the true meaning of how they felt, but they wondered if it would be worth it. They knew he still hurt from causing his late wife's demise, and they could not help but think about how his life was but a speck in theirs. However, they would wait for him, even knowing that final fact. The day he confessed was the day that they felt the happiest that they had ever been. They held a quiet wedding with only several invited, and a year after, they had their daughter, Vega. So, though the two seldom speak about their relationship to others, one must know that their love for each other breaks the boundaries of worlds.

She is their one biological child, a girl of much potential in their eyes. Because of her, they learned various things that they otherwise would not have known. For example, Vega liked running around in the meadows and plucking Enon lilies off the ground. The heavy fog would cause her to get lost, but they would always be nearby and help her back. They also had to solve the predicament of caring for her mortal needs without an excess performance of magic. One could say that they ended up being overprotective of her, preventing her from ever leaving the Enon Fields. However, to them, they thought her departure from Enon would mean a death sentence for her. For most of Vega's childhood, Extol focused on teaching her how to protect herself. She learned to be independent and assertive, and her skill with ice and light magic blossomed. Unfortunately, when she turned nine, all of this had to stop. When they can finally see her again, they hope she grew up to be an accomplished woman.

It would be years until she would see her parent awake. Someone else was going to enter the picture and complicate things.

Though not their biological child, they care for him all the same. In his juvenescence, they helped him with some minor, miscellaneous things whenever they visited. In truth, however, it was his father and Gunther who took on parental roles for the majority of his life.

Lyra proved herself to be one of Extol's closest allies. No matter what, she would fight for them no matter the circumstances. Despite them asking numerous times if she would rather not battle, she said to them that she would never renounce her position. When not dealing with mortal affairs, the two would often travel through space and observe their surroundings. She would make the stars in the sky, which mortals see as their "eyes," and in turn, they would make the planets that orbited them. Saturn, who most likely stayed nearby, locked them into their positions a specific distance away from their star. Besides extra-terrestrial actions, the two would often sing together in their boredom. Sometimes, with a bit of persuasion on Lyra's part, they would people-watch. She held the same beliefs as them until her death, in which she called for their return to the world.

Saturn's playful nature often amuses Extol. In the past, they could not fathom why she took so much time into understanding mortals, but now, they willingly engage in conversations with her about it. She often carries herself with a unique poise that they came to respect. Not to mention, her charisma does not go unnoticed, having a way with words. They enjoy discussing random topics with her because she always has something interesting to say about them.
