SUMMARY

Breccia - born Landslide - hailed from a Traveller band that was led by her domineering mother and father, who distrusted anyone outside their close-knit family group. This rendered her quite shy but also longing for adventure. While hunting, Breccia stumbled across another young Traveller, Firestorm, and the two immediately fell for each other. Knowing that her family would never accept Firestorm and enamoured by his carefree attitude, Landslide ran away with her new mate.

They soon ended up in the Thundering Mountains, which had always traditionally accepted Travellers into their ranks. Landslide renamed herself Breccia and Firestorm became Jasper. The two had various offspring, including Jasper the Second, who was chosen to become the pride's new Squire by its then Knight, Obsidian. Unfortunately, any hope of Jasper Jr. taking after Obsidian were dashed when the young Squire savagely attacked his teacher. To the dismay of his loving parents, he was exiled from the pride for this transgression. Breccia and Jasper Sr. lived out the rest of their days in relative peacefulness, though they never saw Jasper Jr. again.
