SUMMARY

Born Firestorm, he was separated from his family during an ambush mounted by pride lions. Fortunately, he was old enough to survive on his own and he came to enjoy the freedom he had from his parents and got through these tough times with a carefree, positive attitude. Upon meeting Landslide, his attitude appealed to her immensely and she fell in love with him. The two then ran away from her overbearing family. 

They soon ended up in the Thundering Mountains, which had always traditionally accepted Travellers into their ranks. Landslide renamed herself Breccia and Firestorm became Jasper. The two had various offspring, including Jasper the Second, who was chosen to become the pride's new Squire by its then Knight, Obsidian. Unfortunately, any hope of Jasper Jr. taking after Obsidian were dashed when the young Squire savagely attacked his teacher. To the dismay of his loving parents, he was exiled from the pride for this transgression. Breccia and Jasper Sr. lived out the rest of their days in relative peacefulness, though they never saw Jasper Jr. again.
