A starry-eyed and dreamy pony with a love for outer space and a penchant for daydreaming. Stardust is described as having an eccentric passion for astronomy, staying up until the wee hours of the morning on most nights observing the stars and searching for far-off planets through her telescope. However, her interest in the cosmos is not purely a love of science, but instead a search for something much more important. Ever since she was a filly, Stardust has been obsessed with aliens and the belief that she will meet them someday! She has yet to encounter any aliens, but holds out hope that she's close to a breakthrough, her constant daydreams usually being wild fantasies of alien abductions.

Stardust is friends with Northern Lights, a unicorn she met one day after being enamored with her psychedelic paintings and found to have quite an open mind about extraterrestrial life. Her vivid stories of alien encounters and celestial wonders are often great inspiration for Northern Light's groovy paintings. And despite being a morning pony, North has even agreed to sacrifice a few restful nights to view the night sky with Stardust as inspiration for her art. 

Stardust greatly appreciates Northern Light's company and enjoys spending time with her, perhaps there's something she feels about her that's just buried behind all her daydreams about UFOs and little green ponies...
