HoneyTree was a rather quiet and nervous kit. She wanted to prove to others how strong and helpful she could be. As a kit, most of her time was spent in the Elders Den, listening to stories about the first cats of the territories. How they descended from digging cats. She always loved the Elders tale. Sometimes she would even help the apprentices with their duties to help the elders. Often times she was scolded by these apprentices mentors for doing their job for them.

She was apprenticed to MudSteps when she turned 6 moons old. Of course, she always did her best to impress her mentor. One time in fact, she snuck out very early and went to catch prey alone. Of course, she got into serious trouble, but did manage to catch quite a few mice before she was caught coming into camp carrying a mouthful of mice. They couldn't punish her easily because most of the punishments were things she enjoyed. So instead she was sent out with the Medicine Cat and her sister to help carry herbs for a week. She hated that week as her nose was constantly filled with the smell of herbs.

When the time came to take her test, she passed with flying colors. She was skilled in all but fighting. She could hold out fairly long, but it was obvious she didn't like to fight. At her Warriors Ceremony, she was given the name HoneyTree. She held vigil that night, and was glad she had slept a fair amount the previous night. While standing her vigil, she caught the sight of dogs, quickly sprinting towards the Warriors den with a loud yowl. She managed to get the attention of a few warriors, who warned everyone else and got them deep into the dens. HoneyTree wasn't as fortunate, and was thrown around for about ten minutes by the dogs in question. Luckily MudSteps had came to her rescue, chasing off the dogs with the help of two other senior warriors. She got to witness them fleeing before falling unconscious.

She woke up nearly 4 nights later, her body aching and only smelling herbs. Of course she could recognize a few from her punishment as an apprentice. Her sister was curled up beside her. She had suffered a mild brake in her leg, but it healed near perfectly. She would continue to have issues with that leg later, but was able to function nearly the same as before.

MudSteps came in to check on her, as well as the leader at the time. Both gave her compliments on being able to spot the dogs and protect the clan by gaining attention of senior warriors. They informed her of the events that occurred when she was out. The previous deputy had left with StarClan after serious wounds. Now MudSteps held the position.

For the most part now, HoneyTree spends time helping the elders of the clan. Of course she helps on patrols and with hunting still. MudStar always was thankful to her for her bravery, and made sure that she was able to help with anything needed of her.
