OtterPaw was born into a family that was very active within their clan. Her mother was a warrior who was one of the best hunters. While her father was the deputy. She was unlucky in the fact that with them being busy they never spent much time with her. While she was a kit she remembered her mother complaining about not being out hunting. As a kit she told her mother she was going to be a great hunter like her, and even said she would catch prey her first day as an apprentice. It made her mother smile. On the day of her apprentice ceremony, she was told her mentor was RainStorm. RainStorm was a new warrior, and she was her first apprentice. Both were learning together, and hunting was both of their favorite activity.
