Cooper is an incredibly timid and self-conscious person, always worried about what can or will go wrong. He’s incredibly loyal and clingy, and as a result he is very reliable when you get to know him. Despite being nervous and anxious, he’ll defend anyone he trusts with every fiber of his being. He is quite religious, and he has sound morals as well. He is also quite affectionate, and he especially loves physical affection with things like head scratches or snuggles. He is very well mannered, and quite respectful too. However, Cooper is incredibly nervous when it comes to making decisions. He overthinks about almost anything and everything, and while he doesn’t want to be controlled, he’s afraid of taking responsibility in a way that would make him criticized or liable for mistakes. He has trouble interacting with others, and he has a low self-esteem ontop of an inferiority complex. He suffers a lot from internal conflict due to being a Muslim studying so craft, and actively avoids most people as he finds it hard to talk to most people. He’s hesitant to express himself or his opinions, and often says “um” or “sorry”. He is soft-spoken, but polite and does his best to not inconvenience others. However, his constant self-deprication can sometimes make others angry at him. He also tends to bottle up his emotions and thoughts since he doesn’t want to bother or irritate others, which leads to him feeling burnt out after doing anything that requires somewhat strenuous work.

History/Background

Cooper was raised as an only child in an Islamic household. While he was always told that God would always watch over and guide him, Cooper still felt quite lonely. It was hard for him to make friends, and he got picked on by bullies quite often. Due to this, he often stayed to himself. His mother Yvonne noticed this and got him a cat named Pickles. Cooper is very protective of him, but also incredibly affectionate towards him and loves Pickles very much, who he now calls Mr Pickles. Growing up was tough for Leif as he still struggled to properly communicate with others, and the few friends he did make eventually had to move to the big city once development boomed. As a result, Cooper grew more close to animals than he did with other children, and would often spend time outdoors playing with animals or enjoying nature. In high school, his mother bought him a computer and he ended up learning how to draw. By the time he graduated, he had become more confident in his art and draws art as a side job. He currently works as a barista in the Honeycomb Cafe, and he attends Tosniara. He currently attends the classes for Herbology, Elemental Magic, Tarot, and Tasseography.

Relationships

Rachel / Close Friend and Romantic Interest : Cooper is both intrigued, worried of, and comfortable around Rachel all at once. Her mysteriousness and unpredictability worry Cooper a bit, but her guidance and advice instantly drew Cooper towards her and makes him feel close with her. Before he knew it, he ended up catching romantic feelings. However, he fears that Rachel doesn’t love him back, so he bottles up his feelings. He feels like Rachel is leading him on a bit, but he's a bit desperate so he's willing to chase her as long as she genuinely feels the same way for him.
Yvonne / Mother : Cooper and Yvonne have a great relationship. She’s very caring and motherly, and Cooper feels very comfortable and safe with her. He visits the flower shop very often, and while she tends to push Magic onto him, he doesn't have the strength to defy her wishes.
Reiner / Father : Cooper and Reiner have a good relationship. Reiner is attentive to Cooper’s issues and problems, and Cooper is very appreciative of that.
Morgan / Great Friend : Cooper deeply trusts Morgan, and enjoys his company a lot. They could talk for quite a while about anything, and he feels safe and welcome when around Morgan. He even introduced him to Mr Pickles!
Mr Pickles / Great Friend : Mr Pickles is Cooper’s now 10 year old cat, and the two have a very close bond. Mr Pickles is very affectionate and friendly, and Cooper tells him lots of his secrets or thoughts.
Irvine / Acquaintance Cooper idolizes Irvine's confidence, though he's a bit too outgoing to really be friends.
