#176 Malice

Born to a human mother and a Dainty father, Malice's lineage is that of one tied to storybook myth. A distant relative of hers discovered the ability to open and pass through strange portals(usually found in mirrors or narrow tunnels) that lead to a strange universe. Though this was never confirmed to be true by the wider public, it still became a famous tale that follows the descendants to this day. The power had never really resurfaced much in her family beyond some vivid dreams and visions that would occasionally manifest in reality somehow. But Malice learned at a young age that she had an even stronger connection to this world than even the ancestor that she was named after. She could step into this world, awake or asleep, and saw that the residents there all bore the resemblance on those who had died. They could be wonderful and friendly, but also powerful and dangerous. When she learned that she could pull some of these characters into her reality, she knew that she had surpassed her ancestor entirely. But Malice did not wish to have her destiny by her family would think this their opportunity to return to fame and fortune, so promptly she ran away from home and took on a pseudonym, to make her own mark on the world.
