Umbot is a major character of Another Story. He is the former mascot of the Megatower, now the ill-tempered, unstable assistant to Mr. Umbers. Umbot’s shaky programming causes his mood to shift dramatically at seemingly random moments. One moment he is a peppy mascot, your best friend! The next he is a disagreeable jerk who knows it and prefers it that way. Nobody really knows exactly what causes this instability, but he is due for some upgrades…if only Umbers could carry them out without all the threats…or is that really the problem? Umbot does not care to make friends, and instead spends his miserable existence pushing around anyone he has any sort of control over. He is full of remorse and hate and very sharp teeth that he is just itching to bite someone with. And one day he will.
