The unlikely result of a farmer's chicken getting broody on the right rock. It didn't hatch, but it did sprout legs and a beak one day and started begging for food. Not very useful as a farm animal (it lays rocks, not eggs) but it did snap the poor chicken out of it, so that's something. As is common for chickens, she loves her strange child.
