Leslie Izatt
The 5th of 16 children, Leslie was born September 29th after his twin brother, Gideon. His family raised him faithful to mormonism and family, though this later would all be abandoned. Come middle school, he began to explore his sexuality a bit more, much to his parents' dismay. To further shut away the idea of one of their only sons across 9 children they had at the time being gay, they sent him to church camp to try and "fix" him. Ultimately, though, he only became more certain he wasn't devoted to their religion or beliefs anymore. That combined with an accident with his brother and an attempted lobotomy, they were pulled out of school. He attempted to socialize with other people, coming to join a friend group with a few questionable types. At 17, his parents would allow him to join the military earlier than typical, thinking it would allow him to become more "manly" and fix his sexuality.
After serving his 4 years, Leslie returned home and was shocked to find his friends still together for the most part, gladly hanging out with them once more as he avoided his homophobic home with the eldest siblings. He primarily spends his time high, reading, studying, or socializing with his remaining friends, Luka and Marlene. He loves coffee, legos, and model kits and tends to be a quiet person that watches rather than participating, most often playing devil's advocate when he does.
Quiet Humble Empathetic
Leslie proves to be quite sensitive to emotions, which has motivated and inspired him to play into that element of his life to study to be a therapist. He also tends to remind friends to take care of themselves because of this. He's very easygoing, which makes him an easy companion to keep around...especially because he doesn't mind being forgotten time to time.
Shy Clever Smart
For some, Leslie's habits involving correcting pointless things or defending the losing side of an argument can be irritating, but for others, it can be a charm to play off of. He ends up with very strong personality types across his friends because of this, despite those same friends typically also choosing to playfully tease him quite often.
Irritable Closed-off Naive
While he can handle himself in tense situations fine or argue very articulately, the worst side of him tends to be when he doesn't understand something, can't communicate his own feelings, or simply misses simple things such as humor. His irritability leaves him frustrated for long periods, and sometimes also leads him to hold grudges.
At their mutual friends' wedding, Mark and Leslie met for the first time. Alcor had put in considerable effort to set them up, and they hit it off quite quickly. Currently, Mark and Leslie live together with plans to raise the youngest boys of his siblings themselves. Mark worked as a nurse for a long time, but gave it up to be a barista with Leslie and their boys.
Practically polar opposites, Marlene and Leslie get along like siblings. She's high energy, he's low energy. She's sociable, he's a homebody. Nothing lines up, and yet, they can't imagine how different things would be without each other. They enjoy their frienemy-type relationship.
Having met in court after stabbing Luka, it was a bit odd between them, though Alcor's gentle and sweet personality quickly made him feel welcome, despite the odd situation. They grew closer over time as they hung out time to time, eventually becoming decently good friends.
Distant friends in the gang before Leslie went to war, Luka and Leslie weren't very close. It wasn't until after Leslie stabbed Luka in an accident that they actually began to bond, as it coincidentally led to him meeting his soulmate, Alcor. It was also at Luka and Alcor's wedding he and Mark met.
