Here, Carmine is a lot more subdued. Their eccentric personality is more a facade to the fear and dread that haunts them. They tend to be more serious and sometimes disturbingly focused when they work. They retain a morbid sense of humor, a penchant for teasing and a thrill in danger, despite themselves. They tend to come off to others as a sort of “what happens, happen” person. While they try to practice self-preservation, they find it disturbing like the longer they go on, the more to temptation to give up looms.

History

In this verse, Carmine caught onto the government’s attempt to use them and ran, getting a ticket into Cyberspace. They lived quietly for a few months, their transformations adhering to a 30 day cycle. That is until the goddess Matka caught sight of their talent and sent an agent to “recruit” them. They were made to work on projects under the threat that they could become a “project” as the possibility of a literal attack dog was tempting. Soon enough, they advanced the ranks and was put on the new PROJECT WEAPONIZED the first project that Carmine nearly refused, as this was someone “like them”, someone from Earth. They were shown the plans for a PROJECT ATTACK DOG so they, reluctantly, complied.

Their one bright spot is Zirrian, who they are in a relationship with.
