There are 12 genies in the world and almost all of them asleep for eternity. They cannot be killed, as they are not alive. Legends say they’re as old as the world and they bear the power of changing the reality, but not creation, meaning, they’re not gods, but simply another god’s creation. Genies can become anything they want, be it an object or a person, the only thing they are capable of creating is gold. Their weakness is silver. Too much silver will make them fall asleep, but not die. If a genie eventually gets destroyed, reality might fall apart, because their minds store all the knowledge about the world, something like a hard drive of the human world.

Oxeah woke up one day when his crystal ball was stolen from the museum where it was stored as an antique from the time of first people. He had no memory of his past, he didn’t even know who he actually was. Humans’ world wasn’t easy to figure out, he eventually stumbled upon some legends about genies, and learned that they can fulfill wishes, so this was what he started to do, totally missing the point of his actual purpose. He’s quite easy to scare, especially by humans, whose emotions are a complete mystery to him. People refer to him as “innocent” or “pure” because for him, there is no such thing as hatred of aggression, even in worst times he wouldn’t do anything to hurt any other living being.

During the time of first people, after first humans were created, genies used to live among Dragons, ruling the world at that time. With creation of first people, Dragons declined to accept them and left the human realm, feeling betrayed by the Goddess, at first, trying to destroy humanity. Oxeah with other genies had to protect first humans, declaring a war to Dragons, who once were like their brothers and sisters. In the end, the Dragons left, leaving humanity and genies at peace. With years, humans started to abuse the power of genies for their greedy desires, the Goddess decided to hide them and put them to sleep. They’ve slept for thousands of years, until they become just legends and people stopped believing that the genies even existed.
