Poe

Poe (he/him) is an Eladrin Swashbuckler Rogue.

Basic Overview:
"Retired" assassin traveling under the guise of "Poe," a wandering swordsman/merchant, leaving his much more recognized name and title behind. For what purpose or true nature, he keeps hidden. Attempting to live a life of leisure, but his restless boredom and inability to stay out of trouble makes it near impossible. Even during his assassin days, he would jump around doing various jobs that would interest him.

Personality:

• extremely vain
• egotistical and self-centered
• uses flirtatiousness as a mask
• Chaotic Evil (but he has Standards™)
• an asshole but charming in his own way
• definitely would sell you out if he could gain something from it
• generally uncaring of other people's matters but would def stir up trouble for fun
• tends to speak fairly formally and with elegance
• snobbish. high tastes
• meangirl bitch
• bored easily
• he has to feel in power and in control in every situation
• gets jealous and possessive. for those he actually cares abt anyway (VERY few in this category in the first place)
• personality depends mostly on seasons. 
  • spring= tends to be happy and empathetic. feels most refreshed after winter
  • summer= tends to be more aggressive and bold. more easily pissed off
  • autumn= tends to be peaceful and relaxed. more diplomatic
  • winter= tends to be more depressed but dramatic. very "woe is me" at every inconvenience

• gay and trans
• experienced assassin. has gained some infamy for it and could be recognized in places he has done jobs in (as he makes little effort to hide or disguise himself at all) but is mostly retired now from the title for an undisclosed reason
• loves sharp makeup and pretty attire. he thinks he's hot af and absolutely flaunts it
• would probably die on the spot if he thought he looked "ugly" (tbh that scene in howl's moving castle with the hair dye)
• those who have met him usually have varying opinions on him depending on what season they've met him in, but it's not too dissimilar because he's still a dick any season
• has definitely caused and reveled in years long battles with old ex lovers pissed at him for something or another
• entirely desensitized to killing and death.
• his killing is an intimate act, a show of both his skill and power to hold someone's life in his hands. his usual way of assassinations are not particularly stealthy (though he easily could) as he likes to make a show out of their last moments. he finds it far more fun to play with his food before than a quick kill, often assuming a role, if his targets don't already recognize him. yes there's something wrong with him lol
• he does things for fun, not out of the goodness of his heart. if he incidentally ends up helping someone, it is only for the amusement of the task or the fulfillment of his ego when congratulated for it
• secretly scared of animals. he thinks them beneath him
• his body count is high. in both ways.
• regardless of gender, he may flirt with them (just to get what he wants by feeding their egos), but has a larger affinity doing so towards men since he's gay
• this man has no survival skills, if you put him in the wild on his own he would probably die. what is cooking & where are the nice beds. heavily relies on money and others to get what he wants/needs
• as an fey creature, his true name(s) are a closely guarded secret.
• his identities include his birth name(s) that he has never told a soul to, his title/name during his time as an assassin, and his currently assumed name of "Poe" after leaving the prior title behind.
• HATES being woken up and waking up in the morning, he gets super pissy about it. even though as an elf he doesn't actually sleep, the experience is like a sensory deprivation tank for him and he finds it very relaxing. this is aided by his affinity for the most luxurious bedding possible
• he also gets really bad bedhead and will have to spend at least 30 minutes after waking up to brush it to perfection + do his iconic makeup
• his hygiene is impeccable and his skincare routine would make the tiktok girlies blush. very careful to make sure of scars and "blemishes" on his body EXCEPT for his top surgery scars as it's a symbol of power to him. he does tend to find scars on others hot though
• will get super pissed if someone has the audacity to perceive him when he's vulnerable yes this includes sex
• relentlessly makes fun of people with no style (which includes most people he meets in the material plane)
