Personality

Yasushi is just an extremely shy boy who wants to make others happy, but usually ends up failing miserably. He's very timid, never really talking much. When he does, it's really quiet. He doesn't let failure get to him often, but when he does, he usually has a big meltdown alone surrounded by all of his adorable plushy friends. He's too trusting with people he meets for the first time. He also isn't too perceptive to people's bad intentions because he hasn't been around people enough to know. It's not as much of a problem now that Aoki's around to protect him from people trying to hurt him, but before, when it was just him, it was a real threat to his safety.

Childhood

He grew up in the family business, a sushi restaraunt that was on the decline from the very start. Without many customers, he's always had to work really hard. One day, someone not from Kazianosia visited his shop, got sick from his first attempt at making sushi, and laid a curse on him. The curse is, "Your face will terrify and digust all around you except those who truly love you." It was quite harsh for just getting sick off of a 5-year-old's sushi.. then again, the parents probably shouldn't have let their 5-year-old practice at their workplace and then serve it to someone.
