personality

mantis is just a small ball of anxiety. she likes to keep to herself and away from drama. shes very closed off to most apart from her close friends and family. as a med cat, theres a lot of pressure put on her, she does not cope with the pressure well and at time hopes that she could just run away. but she knows that she us very important and respected.

appearance

mantis is rather skinny and underweight, she cant find time to eat and sleep since shes so busy doing her med cat duties or hidng away in the forest. her tail is bushy and long and her eyes a beautiful blue.

flaws

as a anxious being, tha can sometimes come with panic attacks. she can usually be triggered by the death of a clan mate, or something bad happening.

About

as a med cat, theres constent sickness and death around her, thats a very traumating enviroment to be in for your whole life, especially with her anxiety. at times mantis will just run off to the lake, she would sit there for hours, staring into the water, watching the fish, or sobbing behind a bush. the lake is always a safe place to run too. but she cant run away her whole life.

past

mantis was born to her mother, cougarlight. she has two younger brothers, sirenpaw and maplestem. half way through her apprentice-hood she was chucked into the med apprentice potion in a rush. the clan was desperate, their med apprentice had died and the med cat needed someone to take over soon. and soon she was a med cat.
