Abilities: No magical powers, but has a variety of knives and daggers that he uses for stabbing and sneaking up on his opponents. Also has above average reflexes and speed for a human, and is intelligent.
Weaknesses: Doesn't have much of any defensive capabilities, and also has no resistance to magic spells. Also has an aversion to healers (because he thinks having battle scars is a way of showing he's a true man) and is kind of awkward with girls.
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Personality: At first, he doesn't talk much or even show his mouth, rather he sits in the shadows to steal whatever he can to survive. Once someone shows themselves as a non-hostile figure (by either friendship or being really fun to make fun of), his true personality comes out. That true personality being that of a vulgar, high energy teenager without a filter. Show yourself as an actual friend or accept him for who he is, and he'll be loyal to a fault.
He's also very kind and considerate of others, but he is shy about those qualities. After all, kindness isn't what helped him survive. But if he trusts that you're non hostile, he will take the shirt off of his back to make sure that you aren't cold, nurse you back to health when you need it, and fix whatever you need when requested. He's more likely to grumble if you make note that he's a sweetheart under the tough exterior.
He gets easily attached to anyone that shows him kindness even if he doesn't like to admit it himself, especially if he sees the other as a family figure. Currently, he has a mom, two uncles, an aunt, a girlfriend, and a grandpa that he adopted from his guild.
Background: Lived with his parents, his drow mother and his human father, in secrecy for the first 28 years of his life because his particular blood mix is frowned upon. Then events in his universe involving a far-off knight twisting the souls of the departed into monsters in order to overthrow the God of Prophecy spurred a planet-wide apocalypse. That's how he was found out and managed to escape with only the clothes on his back before he would be mauled or executed. Too bad his parents couldn't really join him on that escape: they're dead as the souls that those monsters were made of.
After that, he scrounged by on stealing from as many people as were alive before coming across a troupe put together to put a stop to what was happening. Originally, he joined to mooch off their resources but got attached, especially to a young elf girl named Luair. His troupe ended up stopping the knight and the Prophecy God's apocalypse and returned peace to their world. He ended up marrying Luair and considers many members of his guild as his family.
Despite all of the horrors he has experienced, he really doesn't seem too shaken up about it. He just sees a world in chaos as a fact of life.
Other: He considers himself human for the most part, considering he has never really met a drow outside of his mom and an elder and that he barely inherited any drow characteristics outside of the ears and senses. He has identity issues regarding that, especially when meeting another half elf named Enoch who is more connected to his elven side.
He was also prejudiced towards regular elves due to him thinking they had it easy in comparison. This changed with meeting actual elves.
