History

Jayberry was intensely interested in the role of Healer since she was a kit, spending more time sneaking into the medicine den to watch than running around and playing with the other kits. It was no surprise when she was chosen as an apprentice, and she made sure to prove that she would be a skillful healer. When their mentor decided to take on a third apprentice, Jayberry couldn’t help but find herself growing jealous of Waspsong’s curse. It hardly seemed fair to them. Who needed to listen to dead ancestors when they could simply devote all their time to perfecting the minute healing skills? Despite this bubbling frustration and jealousy, she keeps her head down and focused on her paws.
