Past | Childhood

Raised in a relatively strict household. Her parents were both tieflings, working as higher ups in the local court. They wanted to gain respect among others who tended to look down on tieflings, and ensured their children were brought up well mannered and well behaved, "model" citizens. Their work often kept their attention from their children, who instead were raised by an Au Pair. The three siblings were close to one another because of this (and continue to be relatively close even present day). Void, who grew up under the name "Nethxori", showed adept abilities in magic from a young age and was properly mentored to hone her skills as she grew up. Her parents wanted her to eventually become something of a magical advisor in the court systems, but as she grew older and found about different types of magic in her studies she became more fixated on that portion of the arcane...much to the mentor and her parents' dissent.

Past | Adulthood

Nethxori spent her early adulthood in schooling to further her skills in magic in hopes of becoming a mentor to others. However, her fascination with the more forbidden sides of magic drew most of her attention from her routine studies. This caught the eye of another student, Zenith, a tiefling wizard who was intrigued by her interest and passion. The two fell for each other quite quickly. Eventually, her fascination with the darker magic got her kicked out of school and out of her dream of mentoring magic. However, she had become pregnant and she and Zenith decided to elope instead, eventually settling down and starting a family and having another child at a later date. Their two sons, Sparrow and Starlight, were also born with magic abilities which Nethxori helped to oversee and mentor their skills. Tragically, both of her sons perished in a fire, caused by Sparrow playing with magic that got out of control. Unable to save them, a very desperate, grief stricken Void was convinced by Zenith to attempt a ritual to bargain with an ancient Death God to bring their children back. Something went wrong during the ritual, causing Void to become almost a vessel for lost spirits, and binding a very malevolent one to herself. Nearly dying in the ritual, she awoke to a large pool of blood and a missing Zenith, leading her to believe that she had also lost her husband in the ordeal and was left without a family at all. This is when she changed her name from Nethxori to Void.

Present Day | The Smirkus

After the loss of her family, Void spent a few years wandering the world to try to find a sense of purpose in her life once more. Her journey eventually brought her to an old circus, and needing some income and stability, Void took a small job there doing tarot readings and other fortunes for clients. Eventually, a nobleman by the name of Godfrey Archibald Hollingsworth III would purchase the old, run down circus in hopes of making it into something incredible. This extended Void's contract working there and she has stayed, continuing to work as a fortune teller, with additional "shows" being provided. She and her colleagues also do their fair share of running misc errands for their boss, which tends to land them into a lot of shenanigans.

• Her body is covered in tattoos - imprints of a ritual gone wrong that now attract wandering spirits to her. *Note: these can be simplified/left out in art
• She does not like to discuss her past or the origin of her tattoos with others. She will shut down attempts to pry into either.
• At times she speaks in very cryptic ways, almost in riddles that others find to be extremely unsettling.
• She enjoys foggy and stormy weather. She's also a big fan of tea and red wine.
