Story
Since the day of her awakening, Utao was trained to become a war machine. Enhancements were made to her metallic body to make her even deadlier. Her training culminated in killing the fabric doll she raised during her yearslong training. While her colleagues hesitated at this step, Utao had no problem killing her foster child. She noticed that this murder even brought her joy. So she kept the gem of her child as a lucky charm and decided to collect more by raising more foster children, only to end their life prematurely.
Utao went through this cycle four times. Four times she cared for a son or daughter, only to end their life after years of raising. Meanwhile, her proficiency in close combat did not go unnoticed; she soon garnered the attention of Sha' Oneh, the enigmatic leader of the organization, who bestowed upon her the title of her right-hand woman.
One day, her fifth foster son, the fabric doll Naomichi, uncovered the organization's sinister machinations. Sensing the imminent danger, Naomichi fled, pursued relentlessly by Utao. She nealy catched him, causing in Naomichi's severe facial injuries, but he ultimately plunged into stormy waters, knowing Utao's crippling fear of drowning.
Upon her return from the unsuccessful chase, she was met with chaos and destruction in the organization's compound. Naomichi's escape had triggered a chain reaction, unleashing the powerful slave Lawrence whose unbridled strength reduced the once-imposing structure to rubble. Utao fell on her knees, mourning the loss of Sha' Oneh and the collapse of everything she had known.
Years later, Utao found a new place in the capital of the metal dolls. She now works as an independent bounty hunter, specializing in hunting fabric dolls. She hasn't found any new acquaintances or friends, so she lives day to day without a clear goal in mind.
Her Abilities
The glas elements and mist rings on Utao's body allow her to use different kinds of magic. In her so called combat mode, her hands turn into deadly black metal claws.
› Paralysing Gaze
If Utao stares an enemy down who is already frightened by her, they freeze and are unable to move for a few seconds.
› Extra Life
Utao consumes gems of dolls who saw her as mother before she kills them. For each gem that Utao has consumed up to the present moment (4 in total), she is protected from an otherwise deadly attack. This ability is passive and does not require activation by her.

Relationships
Sha' Oneh was the leader of the inhumane facility that trained metal dolls and slaughtered fabric dolls for this purpose. Utao was her right hand woman and loved Sha' like a mother. One day, when Utao returned to the facility, it lay in ruins and Sha' Oneh was dead. Utao has never gotten over the loss of the only doll she could ever love, even to this day.
Utao was Naomichi's cruel foster mother. She subjected him to physical and psychological abuse and never showed him any love. When he fled and Utao believed him to be dead, she only mourned the idea of not having killed him herself.
