luce is a gsd mutt with a star-like soul. a sleepy workaholic of a dork who loves video games, music, literature and iced coffee's self proclaimed 'biggest fan'. an emotional ball of creative impulsivity and probably way too many bad financial decisions, luce is constantly jumping from interest to interest, spirited in the many hobbies and interests he's picked up along the way.
this little creature is my truesona / fursona! he's just about me as a dog, and i knew from the moment i got him thats what i wanted him to be. he's been a slight tool to explore myself and helped me feel more comfortable with myself in the process! a hundred thank yous to all the artists who have ever drawn him! you have helped me craft, and bring to life, this little guy's soul.
Personality : Overview
to people luce first meets, it is a very shy and mellowed out individual. acquaintances generally worry about hurting his feelings, trying their best to never raise their voice at him, for fear that he is too fragile to handle it, and it would result in tears. although perhaps not that far from the truth, cracking the shell can reveal a more lively spirit underneath. the shy youngster is quite different from the truth, and people who get closer to luce sometimes describe him as even having a sometimes crazy look in his eyes.
the thing can be loud and energetic, subconsciously attempting to dominate social situations. this isn't at all intentional on luce's part, who wants to give others space and the ability to communicate back, but when fired up, vamp tends to struggle with where a line starts and ends, sometimes becoming a little too obnoxious and pushing others' buttons, often unknowningly.
prone to a volatile mix of emotions, with annoyance being replaced with rage, nervousness replaced with panic, sadness with grief, luce can be a tad unpredictable. the thing tends to hold grudges easily, and struggles prominently with a black/white world view, seeing people as either friends and good, or enemies and terrible.
with a self-critical mindset, plus a bias towards self-loathing, luce sometimes struggles with a 'do it right the first time or give up' behavior. that, alongside a consistent tendency to be self-destructive, luce would rather tear a project apart than risk facing criticism or rejection.
despite all this, luce is a creative mind always searching for the next project to get wrapped up in. at times, he's held back by his indecisiveness and a touch unreliable when it comes to his motivation to get things finished. regardless, he holds all his passion projects close to him and recalls most of them with some degree of genuine fondness.

luce is a 5'4 german shepherd mutt. androgynous-masculine leaning, luce's body is flat and broader in the shoulders, with a bit of chub in the stomach. it isn't very curvy and has hip dips. he isn't muscular in the slightest, nor does he particularly care to be.
his fur is average length, with an off-white colored. layers of dusty, gray-browns start at each side of his face, his shoulders and stop at a point halfway down his back, before starting back at his hips and going to his thighs-- layered dusty dark brown, going lighter and lighter before reaching a grey fading into that off-white. on his neck, chest, back, tail, and before his paws are four-point star markings (not diamonds!).
its eyes are a soft green color. under the both the eyes of soft green is a reddish highlight, vaguely mimicking the appearance of faint eyebags, a rather fitting feature regarding the canine's usual lack of sleep. things face is lightly freckled, bicolored with a soft grey and black, with the occasional facial mole. his hair is a gray chocolate brown, flexible in style and length but normally falling down his back. Usually, it's kept in a loose ponytail.
- androgynous leaning masculine, but should never be drawn feminine.
- star markings are 4-point stars, not diamonds! they should not be drawn diamond shape!
- hands can be drawn any way. legs can be digitigrade or plantigrade.
- body type is not very flexible! has wide torso, very little curves, hip dips, and a bit of chub! do not skim him of any of these features.
- can be plantigrade or digitigrade + hands can be 5-finger & human-like or more like a paw w/ no preference!
- hair style is very flexible. can be shortened or styled however, but it is preferred that it is not made longer than vamps default!
- has an alt tail design. both designs okay with no preference!

The Past: First Encounter and Impressions
Luce and Mishka met through Julian on a social media a few years ago. The origins were a tad.. embarrassing, to admit to strangers. In simpler terms, they started out tackling the same project together, which was led by Julian. Along the project's development, Luce grew closer to the both of them. A relationship founded on random chance and originally neutrality, now one of Luce's dearest connections.
The Present: Attitudes and Dynamic
Luce now considers Mishka somebody deeply close to him, being somebody he'd deem a soulmate, albeit platonic. Labelled as the moon to his stars, Luce adores Leo Mishka, who he consisently calls by the fisher's last name, and affectionately, Mish(Mish). He understands that the fisher is viewed as some by stand-offish, as blunt and distant. Some even view the fisher as intimidating. But all of this surface-level views somehow makes Luce have even more of a soft spot for its platonic soulmate. When Luce can mentally pinpoint the breaks in that "distant, rude" mask, from its humor ranging from silly memes and dad jokes, to even the fisher cat's rare rambling session. All of it Luce is in love with (/p).
Although Mishka might view itself more as a ghost in the friend group, Luce feels terrible going a day without at least one message to Mishka. He adores the moments he can spead with Mishka, from calling each other while muted (if only to have some semblence of the others presence), to playing games, to yapping on and on (regardless of if Mishka feels like listening or engaging in the conversation as well). Luce would eagerly consider Mishka one of his best friends.
The Future: Hopes
Mishka is so intertwined in Luce's heart, able to envoke many emotions only somebody close to him could do. For as long as he can, Luce wants to be best friends with Mish. No matter what route either of them pursue in life, he never wants to Mishka to be a memory. In due time, Luce has full plans to visit Mishka as soon as possible. There are so many things Luce wants to do with Mishka by his side, and things he wants to say in person. To cry while telling Mishka how important the fisher cat is to him, to simple things, like walking around a shopping center, picking up coffee and hot chocolate, sitting in just each other's presence.

The Past: First Encounter and Impressions
Luce and Julian met through a passion project on a social media a few years ago. Luce met Jules alongside Mishka, and the in-depth of it all is a little embarrassing to say aloud. They met in the founding of a project shared amongst the three of them, picked up by Julian as somewhat the head of it all. When Luce joined the project, he didn't expect to meet two individuals who would shape his life and become some of his closest friends, yet he did. And Jules was one of them.
The Present: Attitudes and Dynamic
Jules is now considered as somebody deeply close to Luce, being someone he'd call his platonic soulmate. Labelled as the sun to his stars, Luce adores Julian Daniel. With a warm, sunny personality, it's not surprising why both Luce and Mishka often attribute Jules to the sun. Such a simple thing makes Jules so easy to love (/p). He feels at ease going to Jules when trying to process his problems, which given Jules' talent for analysis, tends to be a smart move.
Although both of them have a tendency to be insecure (with their own personal issues regarding personal relationships), Luce feels an immense want to stay connected to Jules, similarly to he does with Mishka. It tries its best to send a message Jules' way as often as it can, if at least once a day. There is a part of Jules that makes Luce feel seen, even if Luce is sure this can be attributed to Jules' naturally analytic side. He loves random talks with Jules, hearing about the random things they notice, or Jules' passions & interests, and forcing Jules to hear him scream at crappy jumpscares. Luce would would call Jules one of his best friends.
The Future: Hopes
Julian is so ingrained in Luce's heart, and can easily call forth many emotions in Luce that only somebody close to him could do. As long and far as the future is, Luce wants to be best friends with Jules. With whatever the future holds for them both, he never wants Jules to be somebody he used to love or know. As like with Mishka, Luce has full plans to visit Jules as soon as he can. He wants to be able to build pillow forts with him, to walk around and pick up lunch or dinner, to brainrot about their mutually favorite video games. No trip is too far for Luce to make for Jules, and no number of plane rides will stop him.
The muse to Edelweiss' poetry, Luce is indefinitely head-over-heels with Edelweiss. The two have mutually labelled each other with a partner status. Luce fell in love first, although not with Edelweiss, but rather the feline's coffee. From there, the two just became closer and closer. Their relationship isn't perfect, but that's okay. Edelweiss is both canon and not canon in Luce's overall story.

Luce is more than happy to call Pistachio a good friend of his. He looks up to it quite a considerable amount and has a good level of respect for it. Not only that, but he tends to think she's pretty funny as well. Alongside this, sometimes Luce perceives it a bit like an older cousin figure, while he's younger and mindlessly looking up to her, following it around in a manner akin to a puppy.

Kusuo and Luce are close, there's no doubt about that. However, the two of them tend to let their insecurities lead them in most of their interactions with one another. Both have made a tendency of being obsessive over the other at times. They do genuinely care and love each other, but both have their own attachment issues, which is ever present in their dynamic.

Maddie, often affectionately nicknamed 'mad dog', has been Luce's close friend since the two of them were in middle school. They've had plenty of ups and downs, both in their friendship and in their personal lives, but always seem to find themselves with each other no matter what. And, perhaps even more shocking, they always seem to get weirder and weirder as they hang out.

Ari is one of Luce's close friends! The two of them always seem to be able to entertain each other with their antics, although sometimes they can go a period of time with little talking between the two of them. It's no problem for Luce, as he's always ready to talk to Ari again whenever she's ready, to explode with information and various commissioned art pieces when Ari returns.
