  Summary

The big train man is the first transport metademon to manifest in the Furean underworld and the pioneer of mass transport of product in the entire division of Fures. He’s known for his intimidating aura, his leaderly prowess and his explosive temper. 

  Appearance and anatomy

Rheingold is among some of the tallest transport metademons and is certainly the sturdiest. His body is made of a mix of substances: part flesh and mostly steel and iron. Most notably his face, inner arms and legs, palms and soles and abdomen are organic, whereas his skeletal system and muscular system are made up of mainly metal and pistons. Lesser seen by the public (thanks to the man’s physical modesty) is how his entire chest cavity serves as a firebox and how the latch on his face is for a smokebox. Additionally, the light on his face latch seems to be his eye since the beam of light coming from it follows whatever he focuses on.

A lot of his body’s workings don’t make much sense, which actually makes perfect sense considering he is a daemon mysterium or a mind demon, a species known for nonsensical physiology.

As the firebox in his chest does indeed power his body, Rheingold has to keep the fire alive to stay alive. His esophagus is a pipe leading down to the firebox, so he does so by eating quite literally anything flammable.

  Personality and behavior

Rheingold isn’t exactly a hard worker himself, but he gives his trainlings meticulous and exact orders as to get things done the way he wants them to be done. Unfortunately for his staff, the train man is quick to lose his marbles and most certainly blows off steam on the harmless little fellows. His work ethic makes hectic days all the more stressful for his empoloyees.

On calmer days, Rheingold enjoys taking a step away from his work and indulging a little. He enjoys the quiet and treating himself to a cigar in his office.
