- Lance often travels between several communities, relatively well known across the midwest.
- Lance picks through rubble and abandoned buildings to find broken items and collectibles! He likes repairing things and giving them to kids he meets so they have something to hold when needed.
- He got the nickname "Lance" from his well formed ability to fish wtih lance & spear-like weapons.
- He has an eagle feather! It was gifted to him by his family when the apocalypse started, as he was the only one able to fend for his family.
- The loss of his family resulted in him cutting his hair in grief. He returns to his familys' gravesite occasionally to tell of his travels and the state of the world.
- The name 'Matšêškome' means raccoon in the Cheyenne language!
Lance is an incredibly kind individual, always sharing what he had with others and helping where he could. He often makes his own jewelry as well to gift it to those he loves!

Often passing through Kentucky to get around territorial skirmishes, Lance finds himself crashing with Sophie more often than not. The two get along well, showing each other and trading trinkets, jewelry, and sometimes drugs as good friends do!
Lance visits Jay's place whenever he can, hoping to provide company for the isolated man. Jay loves listening to Lance's stories and Lance, in turn, loves listening to Jay's music. Occasionally Lance carries deliveries from Sophie's cabin to Jay's place, which both of them can enjoy.
While Lance doesn't particularly care for the way some communities are run, he does always appreciate being allowed in as a merchant who usually brings food or otherwise takes care of the younger kids.
