Works for a small company ran by psychic pokemon to handle any ghost type related issues. her assistents safety is important to her and she often remembers to teleport Evangeline out with her when a job goes south.
Background
TLDR: Facing a rather harsh upbringing of isolation and lack of care from her guardians, she is rather dull and blunt when speaking. she ran off at a young age to join a band of psychics, learning their skills of trade and tapping into her new found love of the supernatural. their love of spiritual things led her to her current day employers, working as a medium and assessing danger but avoid wanting to fight them herself.
Tarot was born far north of her current residence, to a large family in a old style oriental village. She had her parents and a few siblings, all taking care of each other more than their own parents would. Their parents worked for the villages head and thus gave them a comfortable live with little worry... but Tarots parents lacked the attention craved by their children, just wanting to be loved she did what she could for it. Awards, battling, helping and just about anything a child could do to be praised, yet for nothing. Just a nod and back to ignoring her.
After years of neglect and ignorance she had enough, wishing her siblings well and promising to see them once she was stable, she headed off. She went from town to town surviving off of scraps and change from small tasks. Tarot eventually found a band of Traveling psychics, specializing in a variety of things from Palm readings to something more supernatural. Due to her typing and Xatu lineage she was a natural! She had come to love the hobby of interacting with ghosts and communicating with them.
For months she traveled with the nomads and they became a new family to her. one more affectionate than she hoped with her bio family. they stayed together for nearly 2 years before coming to live where she is now. she is currently a freelance medium and psychic that will work for anyone willing to hire, ghost infestation or a simple card reading. She actively resides in a small Cabin a ways from town surrounded by forest and fields.
