Cardimon is a middle child born from his Alolan Ninetale father and Samurott mother. His life was easy, one full of money, nor having to worry about becoming the family head, only having to mind his manners. He lived up on ice filled mountains, snow that constantly reduced the scape to nothing more than a white canvas and a icy lake. Needless to say this enviorment wasnt exactly ideal for friend making... and as such when his father proposed training he was estatic. Finally he could do something other than sit in a lonely manor with his family and whatever pompous family visited to do buisness. But soon the training turned out to be too much for the young pix. His father forced him to deal with harsh training through blizzards and other such dangerous weather. Not to mention being forced to completely throw aside his Samurott lineage in favor from his paternal abilities.

While yes, he was able to learn and hone his fighting, it was no where near what his father had wanted, insisting his maternal genetics had damped his capabilities. Upon hearing a regal distant family had been looking for suiters for their similarly aged Hisuian samurott/Vulpix daughter, Cardimons father was eager to attempt to throw Cardimon their way. If he couldnt take head of the family or make himself a decent ice combant heir, atleast he could tie families together.

At the start of the arrangement he had been thrown together with Eva during her combat training. He had been a deerling in headlights as he was expected to improve in is very much so lacking water abilities. Battling a naturally strong fighter? did they plan to make a joke example for the next mon waiting to court her?
Needless to say he had been pummeled by the smaller pix time and time again. Her strength and more favorable moveset overshadowed his own abilities. Only when he had been able to withstand an assault and keep standing was he could even be able to dream of being equal.

In his evolved state Cardimon is neutral to his betrothed. Him and Evangeline dont fight, nor really interact... They live and show their faces together and thats about it. Theres very little if any romantic affection between the two.
He has mistresses and makes sure that Evangeline is aware of his personal affairs. Not in a flaunting way, he just doesnt intend to deceive the semi-aquatic vulpine.
