The Torken Family

This is a collective spot to elaborate on the entire Torken family and say a little bit about each one. All of them are dalmatians unless listed otherwise. If they have a (WC) in their desc, they are from Wolf Cove and owned by SirynTigress. Otherwise they are from Tigville and owned by me. 

ABOUT THE FAMILY

The Torken family lives in a one-bedroom home. The one bedroom has a mattress on the floor where the parents sleep, and the rest of the kids sleep on various  bedding in the "living room" portion of the house. The parents are pretty much nonexistent in the children's lives which means that the older children take care of the younger ones, and L.C. practically being the head of the household. Having so many children has made them struggle to live financially. The locals understand this and twice a year they run charitable events to help them out throughout the year, such as food drives, clothing drives and holiday gifts for the children. Due to their living situation, some have been temporarily homed with other families while some of the older kids run away to find a better life or job opportunities, leaving the family a bit scattered across the map.

The entire family has an "oddball vibe" no matter how serious they seem, there's something a little off-center about them. When you've met one, you can tell they're different. A little hyper, a little crazy. Overall, the family is generally a happy and good-natured group worth knowing. Unfortunately, once strangers meet Peter, they tend to avoid the rest of the family based on that assumption that the entire family is like Peter, who is at the lower-functioning end of the family's spectrum. The entire family is an outcast due to that and it's been called the Torken Curse. It bothers some Torken siblings more than others that they live a friendless existence, but the siblings rely heavily on each other for support which makes them a stronger, tight-knit family. 

The main cast of characters (Stacy, Paul, George, Tena, Mike, Max, Micky, and Maxsiean) have accepted the Torkens within their friend group over time, though Stacy, Tena, and Maxsiean happened to meet and befriend L.C. before knowing about her brother. However, Paul, George, Mike, Micky and Max met Peter first, and despite his differences, they found a way to befriend him to the point that they now are very protective of him.

THE PARENTS

Father: Jeremiah Torken. Works and sleeps.

Mother: (Needs name) Torken (WC). Seemingly pregnant all the time and sleeps a lot.

THE CHILDREN (in order of age)

Peter Torken: The oldest Torken. Main character group.

Lisa Carmen "L.C." Torken:  (WC) Second oldest, though she acts much more mature than Peter. She had to protect and support Peter her entire life, so she had to grow up fast and seems more "adult" than the rest her age. Favorite color is neon red. Soulmate of Mike Nez. Singer in the Dazzlin' Dogs. Part of the main character group.

Donovan

Gavin: Stayed with a sweet native family for awhile who were housing another named Nanook Husky. The two became inseparable, and when Gavin wanted to go on a trip to search for his family, Nanook came with him.

Delilah

Neil: Tall, lanky arms and legs. Quiet wallflower. 

Jazmine: Sporty tom boy. Wears a heavy potpourri perfume.

Patches: Irritable, depressed, serious. 

Bridgett: (7yrs old)

Sweetie: Short, young kid (6yrs old). Loves repetition, favorite word to  repeat is "happy happy happy!" Favorite holiday is valentines day,  chews on a heart pillow and carries it around with her.

Domino: Short. Younger kid (5yrs old).

Dexter: Second youngest (toddler; 4yrs old). Big forehead. Very smart.

Spot: Youngest Torken (toddler, 2yrs old). Behavior and vocals are of a young excited puppy who love to know everyone. Sniffs and licks others to show love to siblings. He growls when angry. 

ADOPTED CHILDREN

They were homeless and adopted into the family. Despite the Torken family being the poorest family in town, they don't let that stop them from giving what they do have to others.

Skye (blue dragon), Crimson (Red Dragon), Ebony (black dragon), and Lorelei (Yellow dragon; WC): They are a group. Skye is the wise one, Crimson and Ebony are oddballs, and Lorelei is the bad black sheep. They all speak a dragon language.

Nanook Husky: (WC) Gavin met Nanook on his travels, they became inseparable and Nanook was adopted into the family.
