Elijah | guardian angel | genderless
-Elijah struggles between following his faith and loving his bestie Ezra (aka Belial. Belial is Ezra's fallen name.) Elijah is very devout and feels extreme guilt when he does or thinks anything sexual. He is extremely conscious of anything vaguely sexual so he covers up. Nudity, kissing, friendly touches, and sometimes looks are sexual to him--even in neutral or friendly contexts. He has been "helped" by head angels many times, but he keeps relapsing. Some find him dubious and avoid him.
-angels do not have genders, but they have bodies similar to humans and they have desires. Some angels fall in love with humans, others with each other, and some don't experience attraction. Elijah has a male figure. He is attracted to other angels with male figures. Elijah is called he or they. He is not a man.
-He did not talk to Ezra/Belial for a long time over guilt. Ezra's fall was brutal of his fall and Elijah did not help when Ezra begged him to. Fallen angels have the feathers from their wings stripped, hair cut, robe chord cut, and halo shattered. He also thought he was sexually broken and Ezra was pure and just mislead, but he would never disagree with the head angel's decision. He does not agree with Ezra's disobedience. However, Elijah would do anything to help Belial, including breaking the rules. Other angels refer to Ezra as Belial, but Elijah still calls him Ezra--except to head angels.
-Elijah has almond flowers to symbolize his devotion. His almond tree as two main shoots. Each shoot goes in different directions (Y-shaped.) Trees with two shoots are unbalanced and more likely to be broken or uprooted by falling trees, wind, etc.
