An old man who's dedicated over a decade of his life to his research, becoming a doctor later in life as it was never his ambition. All he cared about was finding a cure for his daughter until it consumed him entirely, and inevitably, he was too late. All the time he had wasted, his only option is to continue his work and attempt to seek closure, leading him down a much different path.
Elias Ahlder is an extremely kind and caring man, and very firm in his resolve. In recent years he's become much more dejected, but he still carries a calm smile on his face wherever he goes, as is his choice rather than appearing in grief. It's apparent even with only a few words that he's hurting, but it's still kept solely to himself; only obvious but never projected. He takes great concern in the well-being of others, no matter how long he may have known them.
- There isn't much to be said about his design other than hidden in his undershirt is a pair of dogtags, and he's almost always wearing a mask under his chin because he moves it there after work and forgets about it for hours.
- He does have a dad bod.
Ahlder holds a certain fondness for the young man, thinking of him a lot like a young nephew. They met originally when Ahlder was searching for a medium, finding the young man. Guiyong was extremely talented and his abilities carried Ahlder through much of his grief, but they grew a lot closer over time as Guiyong opened up and Ahlder attempted to help him with his own troubles. Since then, Ahlder's made it his mission to care for the young man where he can.
He doesn't know much about Austin, they've only met a couple times, but he does know that Austin is a seriously twisted individual, and he's not a fan of him in the slightest. And for all his sickening crimes, Ahlder intends to put an end to him and his actions.
