- She was also born with freckles! however, they are usually hidden by her mask.
- oddly enough, after developing their stand, small crosses appeared in her eyes. it hasn't made any difference regarding her vision, however.
- though flirty, she isn’t particularly interested (or in search of) a serious relationship.
born in the violent city of jacksonville to parents of the lower class, her childhood was not necessarily easy. her parents had trouble keeping themselves fed, let alone providing food for a growing child. despite that being the case, however, they managed to provide for quite a while―though, one day, her father had not returned from work. she never found out what happened to him, though her mother speculated he was murdered so what little salary he had could be stolen.
her and her mother were left to provide for themselves however they could, and it was then that celeste began to develop her stand “suicide circus”―likely as a fight or flight response. she could not control it, and it would appear at what seemed to her like inopportune times, but it warded off any that made an attempt on her life.
and so, she provided for her and her mother any way she could―being sent to juvenile prison several times due to recurrent robbery.
her years as an adolescent were not very different from her years of late childhood. many months were spent in and out of juvenile prison, though she didn’t make any real effort to correct her actions―determined to provide for her mother and herself in any way she could.
however, at 16, she was caught committing a robbery and (mild) assault, being instead prosecuted as an adult. unaware that this was the case, she had used her stand to escape the courthouse and attempted to evade the authorities, though it was short-lived. worried of what her mother’s response would be, she had not returned home, and it wasn’t long before she was found again.
sentenced to 13 years in prison after being charged with strong arm robbery, assault and battery, resisting an officer (without violence), and suspected gang participation, she was left to fend for herself at g.d. state prison, and fell out of contact with her mother over time. she does not know whether she is still alive.

her and jolyne reside in the same cell block, and so celeste took interest in her when she was first brought in. after seeing jolyne’s determination and confidence (and skill with her stand, albeit having spent so little time with it), celeste offered support to both her and her allies, and provided as much assistance as she could when they made their escape.

in a way, she can relate to ermes, given their similar criminal records and tough personas. the two get along rather well, as their personalities mesh well and they generally respect one another. not to mention, celeste does find her quite attractive...
friend (mostly one-sided)
when atroe was in the body, she would often bully her, due to having heard what she was charged for. she does not take kindly to those who mistreat children, though something about her seemed different after meeting jolyne. the new nickname, “f.f.”, was also a bit odd. overall, jolyne seems to trust her, so celeste is willing to tolerate her.
acquaintance
she is untrustworthy of gwess. to her, the girl seems like a mix of a fake and a try-hard, with how she always goes out of her way to suck up to jolyne. she isn’t sure what happened between them, however, nor is it her business. she’d rather not ask.
