Gaius "Grisha" Nacre

Born on a cold winter night to a single mother, Grisha was raised almost normally. His mother was deeply protective with a long streak of making decisions for him, even as he aged into a teenager.

Most of his time was spent working at the sea diving below the waves to collect clams and other shellfish to sell at the market for his mother. He always loved the sea, practically being born and raised in the water. But matters changed when his mother fed him a devil fruit- The Pāru Pāru No Mi- In hopes that the powers granted to him would keep him safe.

After a blowout fight with his mother after she fed him the PāruPāru,Grisha ran away from home. From that point on until the ripe age of 17 he lived on the streets- he stole and fought until he had a small bounty on his head,. All that teenage angst and resentment did nothing for his personality. He was eventually captured, and sentanced to a life in prison.

Grisha was stuck in a 12x12 cell with an old woman named Fishy. He made a terrible first impression with her, spouting cruel remarks and insults alone for the first few months he was stuck there. But as time passed, and the futility of his situation set in, Fishy began to speak back to him. She was not as cruel as he had been, merely making observations on his behavior. They slowly grew closer, discussing their lives and the matters of their imprisonment over gruel and dusty stone cutlery. Time creeped on slowly and infinetly in the prison where light rarely reached them, but company changed the both of them for the better. an angry, violent teenager grew into a calm, focused young man with a focus.
