A loyal right hand, bodyguard, and executioner. They were trained to be strong and follow orders to carry out the task of executions, however after Hevenstruct fell they took over looking after Kyren and work as his personal assisstant as well in anything that doesn't pertain to Eden (and everything that does.) At current, that is their sole mission and goal.
Zera is a bit aloof but very dedicated and loyal. They aren't particularly smart either, but they're very good at operating on their instincts and making good calls in any situation, even if they hardly understand it. They tend to be very gentle with strangers, and are deceptively nice in public (not that they intend harm otherwise.) They have a certain natural way of charming people, but it typically stops at kind favors.
They can however be very strict when it comes to Eden, and enacting Kyren's will and the rules of the place. And despite the kind tone of voice they'll use during executions, they're very cold and unforgiving, but it only makes them better at their job.
- The pink bits in Zera's hair are actually clasps made from Kyren's. Yes, it's very weird.
- Zera only wears one earring on their left ear, it was one of Kyren's mother's. The other is worn by Kyren.
Zera's been around Kyren for as long as their parents brought them to Hevenstruct; Kyren was the first to greet them, and the first to make friends with them. Since then they've been inseperable, but Zera became indebted to him after their own parents abandoned them and Kyren's family took them in under a deal to always protect Kyren. And that's precisely what they intend to do.
Zera's cousin, although they only knew each other as kids, so long ago that Zera only has faint memories of it. But when Hevenstruct was destroyed, they managed to track him down to reach out to him and he was kind enough to provide housing, which they can't thank him enough for. Zera is aware he's involved in some kind of shady business, but they're simply grateful he's willing to help them out early on; and they won't bother him past that.
