Overview

Tea is an alien who descended upon Earth in the massive hominid invasion. However, this particular alien isn't murderous and violent like its siblings. Its more docile nature led to its capture when attempting to rob the Headqarters of precious DNA material. Tea was luckily spared from destruction due to their lack of hostility and compliance with agents. One particular agent seems really popular with Tea-- Agent Coffey, the supervisor of the research and data analysis groups in the FBI's Alien & Unidentified Phenomena Defense Department. Tea was thus "hired" as one of two members of the Hands-On Alien Observations Project that was created just for them (because they are the observation subject).

The lack of violence is pretty much the only difference between Tea and any other hominid. They are as energetic as the rest and still possesses a degree of chaotic tendencies. Their antics are frequent and harmful, but only to workplace serenity and efficiency, not people. Tea also possesses an abundance of curiousity and clinginess. Their favorite agent, Coffey, is never out of their sight and everything he does has to be Tea's business too. They also try learning stuff from him-- anything from language and human culture to how to use the break room vending machine. It's fun, and way better than their old life.

Likes:

  • Sugar and anything with lots of it. Tea beelines towards any sorts of candy and sweets, and eating it only amps up their bouncy energy. Much to the agents' dismay.
  • Things to chew on. Hard to find one in the Headquarters without breaking something.
  • Purple! Like any hominid, Tea instinctually pays attention to it. It's important, bold, stands out, and shouldn't be ignored. Hey, Coffey wears purple! :)

Dislikes:

  • Coffee. The beverage, not the guy. The guy is great! The beverage is icky. How do humans drink this stuff?
  • The General. He's kinda scary and doesn't really like Tea that much, which they've picked up on quickly. But it's admittedly warranted-- Tea's first impression was a failed robbery and their continued chaos across the workplace probably isn't appealing.
  • Sitting still. It's impossible! Stop telling them to do it! They're just a little guy... :'<
Notes
  • Tea was named by the agents. The name was inspired by the alien's heavy association with Agent Coffey. Get it? Tea? Coffee?
  • They're trying to learn English since communicating is really hard. Learning is hard too. Human languages aren't really built for alien vocal chords.
  • The glasses Tea wears are from Coffey. He still had his old ones even though he doesn't wear them anymore. So Tea took them.
  • They sometimes think about their race, Mother, and home. So far away now and never coming back... But there's better things on Earth now.
  • Speaking of-- Tea was never quite liked by others due to their lack of murderous intent. Especially during the invasion, as it was pretty much a requirement with their objective. But for Tea, it was unappealing and scary. Nobody knows why something so hard-wired into hominids never showed up in them.

Relationships
Agent Coffey
favorite coworker
Agent Coffey is Tea's favorite human! They follow him around everywhere. Sometime's he's grumpy about it, but otherwise they are best friends (in Tea's eyes)! Tea sees him as a role model, motivating them to learn more about humans. He's very safe, too.
Mothership
former leader
Relations with Mother have been tarnished ever since Tea accidentally betrayed her and their entire race. Mother can't contact Tea due to the advanced tech security within Headquarters preventing alien infiltrators like her, but maybe that's for the best.
