"Psssh, I wouldn't wanna outshine everyone!"

Despite it all, Xie has grown much from when he was just a meek teenager, however the extreme hardships still weigh heavy on him. Having a photographic memory, small things can trigger traumatic memories from back home, creating a clash in how he does act and how one might expect him to act. Outwardly, hes vain, showy, dramatic- but he couldn't dare take that to a stage or perform for any large number of people, crowds and loud noises freaking him out. He's a very emotional man, knowing full well that if he lets himself get into these situations that he knows are high stress for him, that'll he'll break in front of everyone. He covers this up with a fake vanity, avoiding any potentially uncomfortable situation by acting like hes too good for it or doesn't have the time.

That aside, getting into the meat of Xies personality outwardly, hes a very sociably and friendly guy, taking great interest in the vastly different culture of Everstone. He's cleaver and quick thinking, good at working out plans and schemes to avoid getting himself or others into trouble. Surprisingly generous, not a very materialistic person, valuing the comfortable and positive relationships he makes over all. He likes lending his talents to his peers, being able to relax people though massages is also very relaxing for him and always puts him in a good mood.

Xie carries himself in a very upright way without really acting like hes better than anyone. He's over the top vain, to the point it feels more like a joke than genuine- and you wouldn't be wrong. Xie has learned to love himself, but not to this ridiculous extent, often putting on a show to both entertain himself and playfully annoy other people. And, of cores, it can annoy people- having far less chains to hold him down in Everstone, at times he tends to miss when hes being a bit too much. Very VERY emotional, you can find Xie crying over just about anything- be it good or bad, his eyes always seem to be welled up with tears. Lastly, steaming from his home, without realizing it himself Xie tends to be a bit of a perfectionist, often fussing over the little things and being obsessively clean. Can't stand the thought of germs or getting sick, Xie can get a bit over the top about his cleanliness concerns, and the same goes to how he dresses and how his things are arranged, although those two arn't a germs thing- he gets anxious when things aren't exactly how he wants it.

And finally, Xie tends to take advantage of anything he can to avoid being in pain or injured, with a great fear of pain, at times the well being of others can be shadowed by his own desperation to keep himself out of harms way. Without meaning to Xie can also be quick to judge others, and tends to be a bit petty with his judgments- often acting a bit stand offish compared to how he normally is with people he'd consider dirty or barbaric, and can at times be vocal about his judgments before properly getting to know someone. VERY Very possessive, Xie clings to those he grows close to with his life, at times being jealous of their own personal relationships, treating other people poorly only because he wants attention, or is just worried about being replaced. He can be overbearing when hes close with someone, being just as afraid of them getting hurt as hes afraid for himself. And to wrap it all up, Xie is VERY nosy and likes to be in on other peoples issues or drama, often eavesdropping or spying on people to find out whats going on around the guild.
