Roselyne reveals very little about her past for obvious reasons. Her backstory is riddle with painful memories and scarring on both the body and the mind. She'd rather not burden anyone with her heartache.
Roselyne was born in the circles of inferno. Her mother was absent most of her life so she had to grow up fending for herself. This made her into a tricky but fiery youth that would quickly cut the throats of anyone that messed with her. However, this reputation left her rather lonely and without many real friends at first.
One day, her skills in seuction and magic attracted a mercenary group of women and nonbinary folk that were looking to take down a fallen celestial monarch in the 6th circle. This rag-tag bunch would be Roselyne's first taste of true commradery and friendship. They were bascially her family and things were finally looking up for her.
Over the next 6 years, Roselyne and her troupe would be the end of a 100 year war. As they raised the dark castle, it was there she would meet a woman that she would value above all else... Daliah Souris. Daliah, Married to a man that she didn't love, was actually working with the rebels in order to dethrone the dark king and free herself from this prison of a marriage. Daliah & Roselyne were quick to become friends, Roselyne even introducing Daliah to her future husband and becoming a godmother to Daliah's child.
However, the good times did not last. The Dark King would eventually return, killing Roselyne's troupe and laying waste to her home. In a last ditch effort, Daliah surrendored her child to Roselyne so they may escape to the material plane. She had lost everything... her family, her dearest friend, and her home. Roselyne only had the child now... and she would protect them with her life. Eventually Roselyne settled down in a town called Frosthold, forming a new troupe with women who were just like her and even marrying a beautiful frost sorceress.
