Mary Eclair Rainsworth can be described as a young and graceful lady, she is one of the daughters of Marquis and Marchioness Rosethorne. Kind and Noble, she is the apple of her father's eye and was promised to the heir or a son of the Nightray Household. Because of this, she was constantly able to visit the Nightray household before her medical condition got worst. But after the head hunter event, Howard (her father) decided to not pull through with the promise but have both Elliot and Mary marry each other instead; which caused the both of them to become closer.
Mary is considered to be a "gentle beauty" by her admirers because of her fragile appearance and kind demeanor. She has long auburn hair that is usually tied to a bun. She has soft violet eyes that reminds people of lavenders. she also has a petite and slim figure, she usually dresses in typical dresses that shows off her noble heritage.
Similar to most of the noble houses, she has a deep connection with the organisation of Pandora as well; where the Rosethorne are described as a noble house that help the hero (Jack Vessalius) in rising to the top alongside the Barma House (despite not being awarded as one of the "Four Great Dukedoms", which caused many rumors and speculations to spread throughout the years like how "The Rosethorne household were robbed by the Nightrays" and others). Mary does not have a chain and would probably never one of her own as her father worries greatly about her.

Being arranged fiancees, the two met as children. The two got along surprisingly well especially with Elliot's warm personality. In their youth, Mary visited the Nightray manor frequently and was Elliot's playmate.both are rather affection and gives each other gifts .Their relationship often gives out the impression that both have been in a relationship for many years.
