Tei's Brief Explaination of Her Childhood
Growing up, Tei was a creative person. Most people just chalked it up to her being a normal child, but in reality, shewas serious about her art. At first, she just drew just to draw and didn't care what others thought of it. She'd draw members of her family like any other child would do. After she turned ten, Tei slowed down on her drawing and didn' pick it back up until she was 13 when she lost her father.
She started drawing after the death of her father not knowing that it would become something she'd do on a daily. At first her skills were mediocre and exculisively drew traditionally. It wasn't until she was 15 when she discovered what digital art was. In the begining, Tei would badly trace over preexisting art and screenshots form verious anime.
Tei's Breif Explaination of her Adulthood
After getting called out for tracing, an almost eightteen year old Tei decided it was finally time to start putting effort into her art, thus beginning her long journey into finding her art style. Slowly, she had been weening herself from tracing, and started using references in the why that they were meant to be used in. During the fall of 2019, Tei almost gave up her art as she was set to graduate high school and was under an immence amount of pressure to go to college. Thankfully, she did not and chose to join the workforce.
everything was finally looking up and then COVID-19 happened. Tei found herself with a lot of downtime, so what did she do? She chose to draw more and eventually learned to draw without needing to trace the references. She also started to figure out an art style. Looking back at it, she hates all of her pandemic art because she's grown a lot since. After the COVID bans were lifted, Tei continued to work on her skills and improved more. Today, she can mostly draw on her own and is pretty damn proud of herself.
