Profile

The Pied Piper vanished after abducting the children with his hypnotic music, but was that really where the story ended?

There he was, the one with many names. Some call him the "Rat-catcher of Hamelin" or "Der Rattenfänger von Hameln", others "The Pied Piper of Hamelin", or "The Pied Piper" for short. None of those names were his real name, however. It's not like he could tell them. Once he lured the children of Hamelin away from their hometown, taking revenge for not receiving the proper payment after luring the rats away the night before, the people of Hamelin cursed him, making him not only have a tail, but also unable to speak.

And now? He's a wanted criminal, roaming from town to town. He didn't choose to be this way, and didn't want to be, but he had to do what needed to be done to survive. Usually quite stoïc in his mannerisms, the Pied Piper doesn't let just anyone enter his domain. The only company he appears to have are the local rats from the town he's hiding in at that certain moment. The people don't like him, and he doesn't like the people.

Some children still claim to hear sorrowful flute music during the night, and know "The Pied Piper" is near, looking for a way to get back on the right path.
