Jacob is kind and prioritizes communication above everything. He doesn’t do well with spontaneity or change, so he tries to make friends with those who also have routine & consistent personalities. He comes off as weak to most but will quickly prove you wrong if you mess with him. He often keeps people at arm’s length in fear of hurting them or being hurt, so being fully let into his world is very special. Jacob is smart, in an emotional and book sense and a total teachers pet. By others he’s considered "wise beyond his years" and an old soul. His grades have almost always been above average, especially in maths.

Childhood

Jacob grew up in a cozy, single family styled house with his mom and dad. He spent much time with his family, as they were very close. He spent his Sunday morning’s attending church with his parents- admittedly he spent most of that time running around with his cousins but he loved it there nonetheless. He was extremely quiet and relaxed kid, especially compared to his peers. His shy nature already made it difficult for friend making, but his appearance and interests were like a beacon for bullying. Throughout that time, he had one friend who was always there for him- Noah Cooper, his neighbor and BFF. They’d spend their time together at each others houses playing card games, watching TV & running around the woods not far from Noah’s place… until their friendship was abruptly ended by Noah, who would start ignoring Jacobs existence out of nowhere. He was left totally lonely and confused for months until he was befriended by a new girl, Jay Sulu who had moved into a house not too far from his. They became inseparable quickly & she slowly began helping him out of his shell. As he hit high school, he began to making other friends as well. Sebastian, Naveen & Leanne to name a few.

Background

From a young age Jacob had some peculiar tendencies. Picky/specific eating habits, obsession with numbers, time, dates & "random" repetitive behaviors. His parents took him to a specialist, where he was diagnosed with OCD. As he got older, he became more and more anxious & would experience panic attacks frequently. He began medication soon after which helped a lot with his depression and anxiety… but his particular eating habits worsened into an eating disorder. With therapy, he began to get a hold on it but when things get rough or unfamiliar he often goes back into the cycle unintentionally. Staying healthy, constant activity & routine are very important to him, as it helps keep him on track. Due to his "fragility" his parents often worry for him, but ultimately they trust him & his ability to keep a good head on his shoulders.
