Gala Kennedy

Originally a fruit rice sweetical, Gala was well-loved and generous to those who knew her. However, she couldn't shake the feeling that, compared to her friends, she was so plain! Her friends were all so sugary-sweet...and all poor Gala had going for her was the fruit in her rice, specifically apples. One day, in the middle of a celebration in her hometown, Dr. Painekillar approached Gala with promises of enhancing her magical abilities, so she could truly stand out among her friends. Gala agreed to undergo the experimentation, putting her full trust in the Doctor. I mean...she was certified, right? Everything should be fine! (This was a mistake...)

The experiment involved injecting Gala with a concoction that the Doctor claimed would unlock hidden potential and bring out a new, extraordinary magic within her. However, as the injection took place, the essence of Gala's sweet fruit rice magic was unexpectedly infused with the bold and savory notes of curry. As the curry essence coursed through her sugary veins, Gala found herself in a constant state of suffering, her sweet nature incompatible with the savory infusion. The comforting aroma of fruit rice was now intermingled with the sharp, potent spices of curry. Gala's appearance also underwent a transformation – her magical outfit and hair took on new colors, reflecting her newfound savoriness.

Gala continues to struggle with her identity as a Sweetical. If she even...counts as a Sweetical anymore? What would her friends think if she saw her now? They'd ostracize her for sure, she knew this for a fact. She feels so ashamed of herself that she continues to live in Painekillar's laboratory willingly as one of her successful experiments.
