show me ur death/scary god ocs
1. where do they reside? do they like it? In the Celestial Garden, watching the world of Ilouos from above. She does love it there, as she's with her husband Alpheus and the other gods. Though she has a fondness for the mortal world.
2. are they an edgelord or a cinnamon roll? 100% cinnamon roll. The mortals can thank her for their lives going from turmoil to relative freedom, as she loves them all so much she made Alpheus give them a damn break.
3. do they escort souls to the afterlife? There's no afterlife for their world. It's run by the threads, and she collects the black threads to prep them for Alpheus (Life) to use again. It's a task she takes very seriously, even if Alpheus doesn't always feel the same. Still, it's a nice way to spend time together.
4. what do u think makes them different from other death gods? Maybe her balance with Life/Alpheus? She never truly accepted herself until he showed her how her work helps the balance. That, and she does technically lose her power at some point, since it's all tired to her own thread.
5. what is their temperament? what about personality types? Ary is calm and caring, open to hear anyone and everyone's troubles. She is willing to help even the worst of mortals, believing with effort they can change. Over time she has grown a tougher side, mostly thanks to dealing with Alpheus's more childish attitude.
6. what are their hobbies? Gardening is the biggest one. Thanks to Alpheus, the garden they live in no longer reacts to her poorly, so she spends a good deal of time in there. That, and watching mortals as she is very interested in what they do.
7. what symbols do they have? I've worked on so many symbols lately but not hers whoops. Probably a ram/goat head, maybe half dark and light for her and her husband.
8. what are their fave colors? do they like the color black? Red and gold! She doesn't mind black, but she doesn't wear a lot of it. (Surprisingly, Alpheus does.)
9. what are their fave animals? are these animals symbollic for them? are these animals considered omens in the world of the living in their universe? Despite having goat attributes, cats are her favorite. To the point that her reaper takes the form of one. She's fond of rabbits, but they represent Life more than her. People see cats as creatures to be revered (because she loves them and also, you never know when a cat might be there for your soul).
10. i think the death seasons are winter (more common i think) and summer (underused in my opinion, perfect for a fire elemental). is ur oc associated with either one of these seasons? what about fall (i think this could be a neutral element since it is the opposite of spring)? I've never thought of this, actually. Probably summer. The almost suffocating heat, when plants thrive but people don't. It's pretty relatable to her. Still it's full of activity and warm tones, and she loves that.
11. what elements are they associated with, if any? Not so much an element, but she is associated with red roses and butterflies. She's also associated with dreams, as dream demons are her children.
