Circus of Stars Lost Goddess
Arethusa is the goddess of death, married to Alpheus (the god of life). Together they weave the threads of mortals to keep the world working. They each have a golden thread of their own, but as gods they cannot have Eros bind them to each other the same way he does mortals. Instead Alpheus wore his wife's thread around his neck and he wove his own into the scarf she wears everyday. Until a mortal stole her thread from Alpheus, stealing a good portion of her power with it. Arethusa left for the mortal realm in search of her thread, to restore her power and the balance of life and death.
Ary is now at the circus. Her memory of her true self comes and goes, but at least some part of her remembers why she is there: to get back the power that was stolen from her.
Art Permissions
DO:
- Draw her with flowers or in a garden. (Roses are part of her theme!)
- Draw her with the threads of mortals. All threads are red until she touches them, then they turn black.
- Draw her NSFW.
- Draw her with her husband, Alpheus.
- Draw her with butterflies or butterfly theme.
- Draw her with or without a smooth chest. Typically she has "barbie doll" anatomy for a chest, unless she mimicking mortals on their plane (since she does resemble a mammal and doesn't want to stand out from other monsters while there).
DON'T:
- Draw her being violent or cruel. She may be Death, but she loves all of Life's creations dearly.
- Draw her with a large chest, this girl is pretty flat.
- Draw her without her scarf, or a golden thread to replace it. She and Alpheus carry each other's threads always (well, except when he lost hers).
