Would you ever consider doing the "1901" Maine flag ?

It looks kinda like these here:

1200px-Flag_of_Maine_%281901-1909%29.svg

Maine-1901-Flag-Maritime-Pine-Tree.jpg?v

This notif has been sitting here forever so here you go finally!

---

<div data-toggle="tooltip" title="Maine" class="rounded d-inline-block" style="background:#E4D7B1;line-height:20px;width:26px;"><div class="rounded d-block" style= "background:url(https://file.garden/ZRYK5vKULjLI5-2w/FLAGS/~Other%2C%20Novelty%2C%20Reqs/Requests/MaineOrig.png) no-repeat center;background-size:100%;"> </div></div>

I made three versions, one using an original period flag, one using the Wikipedia SVG flag, and that "modern" version taken from the merchant and marine flag. If you want to swap out versions all you need to do is replace the image link found in the code above to the one you want to display- the three hyperlinks above are to those image files for the three versions I made!

oh thank you sm ! looks great !! :D

Hello, I just made one

today! Apologies that the symbols are blown up a bit, I wanted to preserve the same aspect ratio I used on all my previous flags (this is standard each time I make new flags). Let me know if something isn't working (and here;s to hoping this posts correctly the first time:

<div class="rounded d-inline-block" style="background:#ffffff;line-height:20px;width:26px;"><div class="rounded d-block" style= "background:url(https://file.garden/ZRYK5vKULjLI5-2w/FLAGS/~Other%2C%20Novelty%2C%20Reqs/Requests/AssyrianFlag.png) no-repeat center;background-size:100%;"> </div></div>

If you'd like to add the tooltip my other flags have, add:

data-toggle="tooltip" title="text here"

between the div and class in that first div, you can change that text to whatever!

if you take requests, may you please make: ? sorry that these might be difficult!

🇲🇴macau
🇭🇰 hong kong

quebec
hokkaidō
tōkyō (it has two)

Okay, I hope the codes don't do anything weird and I won't have to edit this comment repeatedly: Hello, I added Macau

and Hong Kong

to the list of codes on GitHub!

As for the other three flags you've requested, I'm not adding them to the main list* (right now, may change in the future) but I made them for you anyways:

Quebec

<div data-toggle="tooltip" title="Quebec" class="rounded d-inline-block" style="background:#003DA5;line-height:20px;width:26px;"><div class="rounded d-block" style="background:url(https://file.garden/ZRYK5vKULjLI5-2w/FLAGS/~Other%2C%20Novelty%2C%20Reqs/Requests/Quebec.png) no-repeat center; background-size:100%"> </div></div>

Hokkaido

<div data-toggle="tooltip" title="Hokkaido" class="rounded d-inline-block" style="background:#2F304E;line-height:20px;width:26px;"><div class="d-block" style="background:url(https://file.garden/ZRYK5vKULjLI5-2w/FLAGS/~Other%2C%20Novelty%2C%20Reqs/Requests/Hokkaido.png) no-repeat center;background-size:100%;"> </div></div>

Tokyo (Monshu/Shinboru; I'm assuming these were the two you were referring to)

<div data-toggle="tooltip" title="Tokyo" class="rounded d-inline-block" style="background:#4B0082;line-height:20px;width:26px;"><div class="d-block" style="background:url(https://file.garden/ZRYK5vKULjLI5-2w/FLAGS/~Other%2C%20Novelty%2C%20Reqs/Requests/TokyoMonsho.png) no-repeat center;background-size:100%;"> </div></div>

<div data-toggle="tooltip" title="Tokyo" class="rounded d-inline-block" style="background:#ffffff;line-height:20px;width:26px;"><div class="d-block" style="background:url(https://file.garden/ZRYK5vKULjLI5-2w/FLAGS/~Other%2C%20Novelty%2C%20Reqs/Requests/TokyoShinboru.png) no-repeat center;background-size:100%;"> </div></div>

*Reason for this being if I took every single request for every single flag for entities as small as cities, I'd have too many to do and sort in the list and live previews; thus in the future I'll make a write-up or something on how to make custom flags using existing ones as a base so anyone who wants a very specific flag can easily make their own, and this is also why I'm sticking strictly to national flags at the moment (with the exception of the US states, as I happen to live there and know many other do and may want to represent their respective state, as well as dependencies and other entities with larger populations/diaspora) until I've completed all UN-recognized states.

UPDATE 10/17/23: codes here now use the migrated files instead of those hosted on Discord, and should continue to work.

thank you! and i understand, itd take way too long to do every flag ever

i understand your statement, but id like to add that tōkyō is a prefecture (adjacent to us states / provinces)! its sorta like how ny has nyc. i dont mean to say this aggressively or anything i just like to share tidbits of info ❣️
